Communications Sr. Specialist – Manufacturing Company           

Basic Purpose:  To coordinate and execute communications materials and programs that effectively promote the company’s professional product line, including literature, print and digital media, direct mail, tradeshows and special event materials, etc.

Areas of Primary Accountability:

1.    Work with the Communications Manager to develop written annual strategic communications plans and budgets for assigned product lines. 
2.    Work with advertising agency to plan media and PR for assigned product lines.
3.    Facilitate internal or vendor production of communications materials, including but not limited to, media, PR, direct mail, brochures, in-store signage, flyers, rebates, sales support materials, digital assets, websites, and other promotional materials.
4.    Utilize project management system to manage job timelines and keep project on-schedule.
5.    Maintain and reconcile budgets throughout the year.
6.    Coordinate and participate in all creative input meetings.
7.    Review and proofread all copy for use in communications materials.
8.    Review all materials to ensure they are strategically on-target with creative brief. 
9.    Update project reports, adding new projects and status updates as needed.
10. Assist Marketing/Product Managers in marketing activities needed to service the sales team, key accounts, or take advantage of seasonal or situational sales opportunities.
11. Travel as needed to meet with key account marketing management and attend trade show events.
12. Maintain industry contacts with customers, suppliers and related industry organizations.
13. Conduct annual review of all product line communications materials for update, disposal or future use. 
14. Provide monthly updates to Sales Groups concerning current promotions.
15. Provide show planning and set up services for major trade shows and events as needed.
16. Review market research and make recommendations in applying research findings to maximize sales.
17. All other duties as may be assigned.

 Position Specifications:  

*    Education:     Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field
*    Experience:  5+ years in marketing, advertising or related field, ad agency experience preferred
*    Travel required in this position is: 10%
*    Specialized knowledge or training:  Business-to-business marketing experience preferred. Professional turf industry experience is a plus.
*    Other skills:  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills essential

Web Designer/Developer - Wordpress

Areas of Primary Accountability:
·       Develop functional web applications using Wordpress.
·       Implement responsive front end design for mobile, PC, and tablet, and ensure compatibility with
multiple browsers
·       Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
·       Provide website maintenance and enhancements
·       Improving the design, content and conversion of the company website and intranet
·       Manage code tests to identify and solve for bugs before site launches.
·       Work with communications team to develop marketing automation campaigns
·       Collaborate with cross-functioning teams to make strategic recommendations and improvements to the business and site

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related web based area.  Applicants will be considered if no degree, but with more than 3 years of work experience plus the experience required below.
  • Experience: 3+ years digital production experience

 Digital Business Development Manager, Denver/Kansas City Territory is to meet the requirements & support the market segments served, in the region, while achieving net sales volume & margin goals and ensuring that customer service remains at a superior level.
    Must be able to write proposals and respond to RFPs (and all the details/deadlines they include)
    Must be able to set up meetings
    Must be able to host and facilitate meetings via phone, video conference or in person.
    Must have a vetting process for sales opportunities (i.e. is this a good lead? do they have budget?) and nurture prospect relationships until they are ready for Agency services if there is a future opportunity
    Must be able to write grammatically correct emails and convey proposal details in those emails to further sales negotiations
    Must be able to prioritize or rank leads
    Must be tech savvy with experience using Microsoft products, a CRM, email, video conferencing and google suite of products

Position Scope

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities 
    Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in assigned territory. 
    Responsible for cold calling via email or phone 
    Develops and implements agreed upon Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and 
business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. 
    Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue 
generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. 
    Ensures pacing and quality along with consistency of product and service delivery packages.

    Organize and contribute input as requested about sales material & sales material development. 
    Travel as much as required to grow the territory to $700,000.

    Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of 
contacts to be made. 
    Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.

    Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities 
    As required, be available for account team hand off. 
    Attend networking events and be confident to handle and nurture new relationships independently 
    Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or 
feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. 
    Coordinate with company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
